【摘要】:1.1ThisspecificationcoversASTMSpecificationA416/A416Mlow-relaxationGrade250andGrade270seven-wireprestressingsteelstrandwithprotectivefusion-bondedepoxycoatingappliedbytheelectrostaticdepositionmethodorothermethodthatwillmeetthecoatingrequirementsinSection8,and,exceptasallowedby1.2,withtheintersticesofthesevenwiresfilledwithepoxytominimizemigrationofcorrosivemedia,eitherbycapillaryactionorotherhydrostaticforces.Note18212;Themanufacturerasidentifiedthroughoutthisspecificationisthecoatingapplicator.1.2Uponspecialrequestbythepurchaser,theintersticesareleftunfilled.Note28212;Unfilledstrandcancorrodefromtheinsideanditsapplicationforprestressingtendonsinconcreteorforrockandsoilanchorsisnotrecommended.1.3Thisspecificationisapplicableforordersineitherinch-poundunits(asSpecificationA882)orSIunits[asSpecificationA882M].1.4ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.
