【摘要】:Thistestmethodisconsideredsatisfactoryforqualitycontroltestingandcommercialshipmentacceptance.5.1.1Incaseofadisputearisingfromdifferencesinreportedtestresultswhenusingthistestmethod,thepurchaserandthesuppliershouldconductcomparativeteststodetermineifthereisastatisticalbiasbetweentheirlaboratories.Competentstatisticalassistanceisrecommendedfortheinvestigationofbias.Asaminimum,thetwopartiesshouldtaketestspecimensthatarefromthelotofmaterialofthetypeinquestion.Thetestspecimensshouldthenberandomlyassignedinequalnumberstoeachlaboratoryfortesting.Theaverageresultsfromthetwolaboratoriesshouldbecomparedusingstudentrsquo;t-testforunpaireddataandanacceptableprobabilitylevelchosenbythetwopartiesbeforethetestingisbegun.Ifabiasisfound,eitheritscausemustbefoundandcorrectedorthepurchaserandthesuppliermustagreetointerpretfuturetestresultsinthelightoftheknownbias.Finishesandchangesinfabricsurfacesmayexertalargeeffectonpileretentionofcorduroy.Therefore,itmaybedesirabletotestbeforeaswellasafterlaunderingordrycleaning,orboth.Theseparatetestingofspecimensonthefaceandbackofthefabricisimportantinthistestmethodsincethepilepull-outmaybeduetoabrasiveactiononeitherthefaceorback.Withmanypilefabrics,specificallycorduroyconstructions,pileretentionpropertiesareworsewhenabradedontheback.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheabrasionofpilefabricswhenthelossofpiletuffsoccur,sometimescalledpileretentionorpilepullout.Itincludestwoprocedures:1.1.1ProcedureAThe"HeavyDuty"proceduredescribesthetestoptionforfabricsover240g/m2(7oz/yd2)orfabricswhichshouldmeetheavydutyend-useconditionsofwear.1.1.2ProcedureBThe"LightDuty"proceduredescribesthetestoptionforfabricsunder240g/m2(7oz/yd2)orfabricswhichshouldmeetlightdutyend-useconditionsofwear.1.2Thetestmethodisintendedforbothregular,riblesswovencorduroyorotherwovenpilefabricconstructions.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thisstandardmayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operations,andequipment.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
