【摘要】:Theballcoefficientofrestitutionisaballdynamicpropertyofrelativevelocitychangecausedbyimpactwitharigidwall.Thistestmethodissuitableforobtainingdatainresearchanddevelopment,qualitycontrol,andclassifyingballsbyliveliness.Sportsassociationscanusecoefficientofrestitutionstandardsinspecificationsforofficialbaseballsandsoftballs.Thissametestprocedurecanbeutilizedatimpactspeedsotherthenthatprescribedinthisprocedureandsonotedinanyreportedtestresults.1.1Thisprocedureisintendedtostandardizeamethodofmeasuringthecoefficientofrestitution(COR)ofbaseballsandsoftballs.1.2Thisprocedureisestablishedtoprovideasingle,repeatable,anduniformtestmethod.1.3Thisprocedureisforaballthatisintendedforuseinthegameofbaseballorsoftball.1.4Thetestmethodisbasedonballspeedmeasurementsbeforeandafterimpactwitheitheroftwotestsurfaces:woodormetal.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
